Registration:

Although registration is not necessary, it is recommended.  If you register with the MakingLaps.com Forum, after Login, you will be able to view the "Members Only" section of the board, play the vintage arcade games against other members, as well as be included in random giveaways from our staff and sponsors, and of course, contests.

• Registration is simple.  
  
• Click on the hyperlink in the upper right hand corner of the forum mainpage.
  
• Fill in your info, a valid e-mail address is necessary for registration confirmation. 

• Any information that you provide will be kept private, and we will not provide any email addresses to other companies for advertising purposes. We 100% guarantee it.  Forum updates are available and you must set how many you want, if any, in your profile.  Also, most threads will give you the opportunity to receive notifications when there is a reply to a thread. 

• Choose a login name that you would like others to see.

Remember, you may post anonymously at any time, even if you are a registered member.  Just logout!  Then click on start a new topic.

• You can opt-out at any time, or edit your settings.  These include how you wish to view posts, and in what order. After registration is complete, you will receive an email welcoming you.  Once you login again you can edit your profile and choose an avatar that suits your mood or personality, and change it whenever you wish.
  
• The moderators may increase your flame rating at any time, based on quality and quantity of posts.
  
• Also feel free to place your own homepage URL in your visible signature.  (We at MakingLaps.com encourage a healthy website exchange, as we are all racefans first and foremost!  Isn't that what it's all about?)
  
• Make sure you tick the box to make the signature visible to others.
