Wade Mattesen and the Fournier Motorsports/ Gaston Racing SK Modified team are in full preparation for the 2008 season.
The 2007 Stafford Motor Speedway SK Modified division rookie of the year and his team are currently preparing two cars for this season.
"We were really pleased with how our season went last year" said Wade. "To end up tied for tenth in points, and win the rookie of the year tittle was satisfying for all of us".
"Were really excited about the upcoming season were going to have two cars, the car we ran last year of team co owner Bill Gastons, and a new CD car that were putting together owned by team co owner Lou Mattesen". Once again Performance Engines by Billy The Kid will be providing the power for the #6 team.
Sponsorsing the team once again in 2008 will be Tim and Laura Fournier Motorsports, Gaston Racing Enterprises, Morrison and Johnson Automotive, Connecticut Rehab, Scrubbin Bubbles Auto Wash, Scooters Grill, Terrys Transmissions, and BC Designs.
"Our main focus will be running the full season at Stafford, and we also plan on running a few shows at Waterford and possibly Thompson".
