Fox to be new head tech inspector?

The word on the street is SK and Late Model driver Tom Fox will head up the tech staff at Waterford in 2008.

Rumor has it Fox will serve as the SK Mod and Late Model divisions tech inspector, and oversee tech for the other weekly divisions.

Tom was at the Speedbowl Christmas Party yesterday fielding questons from competitors. He will be on the track's staff next season.

Does the bowl honestly think this can work? There is far too many conflicts of interest with this type of arrangement IMO.

I think its good. For example, the Mini Stock inspector at Thompson used to run those cars for a few years, and thus knows all the cheating that goes on, and all the tricks in the book. Im sure Tom will do a good job and hopefully can get Waterford back to the level it should be.
