BONUS AWARDS STACKING UP FOR 57^TH RACE OF CHAMPIONS WEEKEND THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT OSWEGO SPEEDWAY.

OSWEGO, NYThe 57^th Annual Race of Champions Weekend is set to take place this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21^st and 22^nd at Oswego Speedway.  The list of bonus awards and incentives continues to grow heading into the race weekend. 

Once again this year Marilyn and Don Toal did a fantastic job in Modified lap sponsors for the race teams that participate in the 200.  This year they raised a grand total of $23,350 to the lap leaders in the Sunoco Race of Champions 200 lapper.

Twenty different laps will pay a minimal of $500 each courtesy of Vic Hooker Motorsports.  Again this year lap 68 will pay $1,000 to the leader in the memory of Alex Friesen.  This yearly bonus incentive is always a great bonus for the Modified teams.

A $500 bonus has been put in place for the top finishing True Value Modified Series team that competes in the Modified 200.  To be eligible a driver must have competed in a minimum of five TVMS events in 2007. 

For teams that may have had tough luck in the Modified class a special incentive has been put into place.  Any Modified team that attempts to qualify for the 200 and fails to do so will receive a free Hoosier Racing Tire at an est. value of $155.00

Again the Gater Racing News bonus award will see a random Modified driver in attendance earning $500 cash.  This award is available to any driver that enters the event and makes an attempt to qualify. 

Another randomly selected Modified driver will earn a free set of Dart Racing heads.  Dart Machinery has been putting up this bonus award all season long on the RoC Dart Asphalt Modified Tour trail.
