Jimmy Blewett is now four-for-four in SK Modified wins, but this one was hard-earned. He held off Earl Paules in the second half of the race, despite Paules' repeated shots to the back of Blewett's bumper. Blewett blocked Paules down the frontstretch for the win, then proclaimed that Paules "made a mistake" by tapping his bumper late in the race and that Paules "won't get an inch for the rest of the week." Eric Beers, Eric Goodale and John Cleary rounded out the top-five
