Feb. 5, 2007 – Greenville, Va. – Rolling Thunder Modified officials today announced the introduction of series sponsor PASS (Pro All Star Series) to be the official sanctioning body of the Rolling Thunder Modifieds for the 2007 season.
RTM President Kirk Wilson said, “To say we are excited about this partnership would be an understatement. This agreement solidifies our commitment to our drivers, teams, and fans that we will continue to provide them with a first class racing experience. PASS has certainly distinguished itself as a first class organization, providing some of the most exciting racing out there. We are pleased to help them expand further into the Mid-Atlantic and the South.”
“Strategic partnerships are a key ingredient for the success of both series and this partnership will allow us to develop an even stronger “modified” presence in the south,” said Scott Reed, Public Relations coordinator for PASS. “Both groups understand the importance of modified racing in the south and both have a desire to develop a modified touring schedule that is affordable and fun for the teams and fans alike. We are pleased to have RTM as part of the PASS family.”
