Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
I'm pretty sure everyone knows by now that I left Stafford. There is a couple of reason I left Stafford but I don't think I really need to explain them to those who raced there while I was there. As for Chris Jones and other decisions like the ones made in his case and since my Dad's passing, for those who attended Stafford while my Dad was alive I ask this, do you think my Dad would have allowed even part of what has been allowed since my Dad died? Make no mistake Chris Jones was, is and will be an embarrassment to racing but he is not the reason I left. And just to answer the question that many think about and ask me often... Yes I misseverything and ALMOST everyone at my Dad's track Stafford Motor Speedway. No matter who tries to rewrite history or how often they claim to have saved the place, Stafford Motor Speedway is and always will be the track that Jack Arute Sr. built.
Chris has been fine since his return. I wonder if he has a better relationship with the track now. He certainly runs well and has been calm and hasnt unplugged.
