While in the right era (SK Mods) Ricky Young is not the driver RMF. Hint the driver is retired, but his son now races.

Another great guess Rich, but Dave Gada won the last race of the season during his 1990 championship season. Another hint, the driver in question's son is also a former Mod champ at the Bowl.

Rich, you got r done! Dick Ceravolo in 1988 was the answer. Sorry RMF, Rick Donnelly was a former champ but didn't go winless in that year.
