Alexander joins SPEED Broadcast Team for 2007: Long-time Motor Racing Network broadcaster Adam Alexander will join the SPEED Craftsman Truck Series broadcast team as a pit reporter during live coverage for the 2007 season. Alexander, of Evansville, Ind., has spent the last six years as a booth anchor, pit reporter and turn announcer for MRN's Nextel Cup Series, Busch Series and Truck Series race broadcasts. During that same time period, Alexander also handled pit road and turn announcer duties for IMS Radio Network's yearly nationwide broadcast of the Indianapolis 500. Alexander's addition to the SPEED broadcast team continues the network's growth trend within the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Since 2004, when broadcasts of the Truck Series started on the network, SPEED has enjoyed a nearly 15-percent increase in overall audience year over year, as ratings are up again in 2006.(Speed TV PR)(10-19
