A pre race rain shower ,followed by a heavy downpour and strong gusty winds during preliminary races, forced postponement of the Sunday afternoon program for the True Value Modified Racing Series ,and Late Model division, Sunday afternoon at the Lee USA Speedway, Lee,NH. With track drying efforts underway, and internet weather services indicating another band of showers could pass through the area, it was decided that the program would be postponed to the Oktoberfest weekend Oct 21,22. Twin 100 lap races will be run that weekend for both divisions.
Next up for the TVMRS is the annual D.A.V. weekend at the Seekonk Speedway, Seekonk,MA. The chase to the championship between Ascutney VT's., Dwight Jarvis, and W.Bridgewater,MA., standout Jimmy Kuhn.Jr. will continue at the Oct 7,8 venue. 24 points separate the two drivers when they head to Seekonk.
