NASCAR Announces Watkins Glen Penalties: Two Busch Series crew chiefs have been fined by NASCAR as a result of rule violations during last Saturday's race at Watkins Glen. Todd Brewer, crew chief for the #25 Ford driven by Ashton Lewis Jr., and Dave Fuge Jr., crew chief for the #34 Chevrolet driven by Brian Simo, have both been fined $2,000 for violating Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing); 9-4-A (crew chief assumes responsibility for actions of team members); 9-15-G (permitting individuals without a proper NASCAR license into the car servicing area); and 20A-17B and 17.1A (entering the car servicing area without the proper safety equipment) of the 2006 NASCAR Rule Book.(NASCAR PR)(8-16-2006)
