Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
CONCORD - Todd Kluever will be attempting his second NASCAR Nextel Cup start this weekend in the GFS 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
Kluever will compete in both the Cup and Busch Series races in his No. 06 3M Ford Fusion. Kluever finished 41st in his first Nextel Cup start at Chicagoland Speedway last month. He ran the entire race, but a NASCAR penalty for hitting the commitment cone on pit road during a green-flag pit stop cost him two laps.
"I'm really looking forward to the Cup race at MIS this weekend," Kluever said. "I learned so much at Chicago that I know will help me at Michigan. Just having the seat time makes such a big difference. I had only tested once before at Kentucky before the race at Chicago so the experience I got from spending three hours in the car racing will be huge for me."
