Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
the boyfriend (And i) worked hard to get the motor out of his normal legend car, and into the other car. all was finished and looking awesome come wed.
legends get 2 practices at waterford. 1st practice everything went great. cj (the boyfriend, driver of the #8 legend car) was extremely happy with this car. it was driving, turning, and running like a champ. for the first time this season cj felt as if he may have a real chance at winning this race. any driver knows thats a great feeling. your cars running great, the night is great, everythings great...
there was crash in the race which caused a caution (a few people including jason palmer wrecked coming out of turn 3, his car getting the most damage to it, he is ok)
before the caution cj was in 2nd place.. when they lined up after the caution they let a car go infront of him forcing him into 3nd place. no one knows why they did this.. they just did it. *coughNOTRIGHTcough*
so cj is a bit upset, and now fighting to get 2nd back, 10 laps to go and the person in 2nd is blocking him hard. has been for a few laps now. cj goes to get around him and, well it all happens in such a flash... it looked as if the driver who was in 2nd kinda turned left on cj. the next thing you know cj's legend is climbing up the other car, flying up into the air, then landing on the hood.
it sucks seeing anyone crash, but gosh its a whole different world when your watching someone you love being flipped over at 80mph.
i must say, those little legends hold up. body wise. everythings a bit bent and twisted, but i figured the thing would be all caved in upon it self. the roofs a little more flat, but thats about it.
luckily he is ok, and so is everyone else who crashed that night.
the car is ... wrecked. we hope to have it fixed up and ready to win by wed.
Glad to hear he is ok. Hope you get the car fixed back to winning form. Oh, and welcome aboard.
Did the track give any indication why they put the other car ahead of him? Was CJ racing him for 2nd before the caution or clearly a car length or more ahead of him for a lap or more? Was the other driver one of the top or favorite racers? Just trying to figure the puting him ahead thing.

thank you for the good wishes and the welcoming =)
cj was clearly in 2nd place, for over a lap.
they did this before also.. put 3 lapped cars infront of him during the 50 lap feature last saturday, which also led to cj crashing. both of these crashes wouldn't of happened if they would have the cars line up right after cautions.
