ACT TOUR’S RAINED OUT AIRBORNE RACE CANCELLED FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ACT-080206-1 Waterbury, VT – Airborne Speedway officials have cancelled the rained out American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model event at the half-mile Plattsburgh, NY speedplant. The race was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 22. Track management cited schedule conflicts due to multiple early-season rainouts and the aggressive ACT Tour schedule leading into the two remaining $10,000 to win ACTion Super Series events. The 28th Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 is slated for Sat/Sun, Sept 2-3 while the 43rd annual New England Dodge Dealers Milk Bowl will take place on Sat, Sept 30 and Sun, Oct 1. Both races will be held at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl in Barre, VT, a high banked quarter-mile oval. ACT continues its 2006 season this Saturday (Aug 5) at Seekonk (MA) Speedway.
