Halifax, NS (July 18, 2006) – Scotia Speedworld officials have announced that the Forbes 200 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) race rained out on June 24 & June 25 has been cancelled for 2006.
“We couldn’t find a date that fit both PASS’ and our schedules,” stated Scotia Speedworld’s GM Ken Cunning. “We tried every combination that we could think of, to no avail. We looked at running the Forbes race when PASS is back in town for the Atlantic Cat weekend, but we couldn’t make it work.
“Forbes Chev Olds and C&R Auto Supply completely understand the situation and have been very flexible as we worked through this situation” said Cunning. “They have been very supportive during the process”.
PASS is a Super Late Model touring series based out of Maine, starring drivers such as Mike Rowe and Cassius Clark. PASS returns to Scotia Speedworld August 12-13 for The Atlantic CAT 250.
