Allright here is a little hint. This driver competed in the Western New York area before coming to the Tour.

only person that comes to mind that was in the western ny area was charile rudolf in the 72?  i am drawing an absolute blank on the sponser.......

Two out of three there Scott. It was Charlie Rudolph in the #72. A hint on the sponsor is their colors were red, white, and blue.
