Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
While out in WI at 141 Speedway a couple years ago, I helped a friend with a Mid-American car which is like our Late Models. They were running Hoosier tires like the ones the LM's here used to run. Before the cars ran their feature and heats they put a white powder on the track in the turns. My friend said it made a significant increase in traction while it lasted. 141 is a tight little bull ring much like the Bowl and maybe it will help the second groove, if it is the same stuff. Glad to hear they are trying something.
