Ruben Pardo had a very impressive ninth place finsih at Thompson (CT) Speedway becoming the first Mexican driver yto ever earn a Top Ten finish on the Busch East Series.
At Holland (NY) Speedway Pardo was part of another historic event for the series as well. For the first time in history three Mexican drivers participated in a Busch East Series event. Rogelio Lopez, Carlos Pardo, and Ruben Pardo.
