Defending NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart took round three of the 2006 Crown Royal IROC Series at Daytona International Speedway. The race was the Series first on a Road Course since Watkins Glenn in 1991, won by Rusty Wallace.
Max Pappis from the IRL was second, followed by Ryan Newman, Scott Sharp and Sam Hornish Jr. from the IRL rounded out the Top Five.
