The PASS South Super Late Models Celebrate The 4th At Tri-County
(Naples, ME -- June 29, 2006) The PASS Super Late Model Series roars into Tri-County Motor Speedway, Hudson, NC Tuesday night the July 4th at 7:30 in the fifth stop of the 2006 season for 150 laps of green-flag, side-by-side racing action in the Firecracker 150.
After the fireworks on the track are done on Tuesday night, the point’s battle may take on a different look with less than 50 points separating the top five. With just over a third of the 2006 season races in the books, Mike Rowe of Turner, ME continues to hold the point’s lead, but young Ryan Lawler of Colleyville, TX is only 12 points behinds in second. Ted Musgrave, Jr of Mooresville, NC is only 38 points out of the top spot in third with Preston Peltier of Concord, NC only six behind Musgrave, and Dennis Schoenfeld of Concord, NC holds down fifth only four points behind Peltier.
However, Charlie Bradbury of Chelsea, Al, Chris Dunn of Raleigh, NC, Tim Nooner of Salisbury, NC, local star Lee Tissot, and a number of other invaders may have something to say before it’s all done.
The fireworks will continue after the Firecracker 150 with “The Celebrate Freedom” Fireworks Spectacular that will light up the Tri-County sky. In addition, the Fast and Furious Fours, Minis, and Street Stocks will also be in action.
