The Charm Didn’t Work – Canaan Canceled Again
(Naples, ME – June 9, 2006) Under rainy skies and building wet grounds, and with a forecast of continuing rain Saturday, the management of the Awesome Asphalt at Canaan Fair Motorsports Park, Canaan, NH has to cancel the Saturday June 10th show yet again.
We will try again next Saturday June 17th with a regular KIXX 100.5 Weekly Racing Series show featuring the Outlaw Late Models in a 40-lap feature, the Super Streets, Pure Stocks, Outlaw Minis, Kids Bandits, and Minis.
In addition, the New England Antique Racers (NEAR) will be joining the show with their beautifully restored cars from the golden days of modified racing.
The PASS Outlaw Late Model 100 has been canceled. The next race for the PASS Outlaw Late Model Series will be the Northern Division race at Unity Raceway, Unity, ME on June 18th. The next, and hopefully first, PASS Outlaw Late Model Central Division 100 lap race without rain at Canaan will be Sunday July 2nd as part of the big Fourth of July Celebration
