Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Travis Kvapil will be attempting to qualify for his 50th NASCAR Nextel Cup race of his career at Dover International Speedway
He will be attempting to start in his third NASCAR Nextel Cup race at the 1.0-mile oval.
His best start is 13th (Sept. 25, 2005) and best finish is 17th (June 5, 2005) while driving the No. 77 car
Kvapil has completed 800 of 804 laps (99.5%) of Cup competition at the track known as the Monster Mile
Since PPI Motorsports (PPIM) is outside the top 35 in owner points, Kvapil will have to make the Neighborhood Excellence 400 on speed. Currently, the No. 32 Tide/Downy Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS is 39th in owner standings with 829 points … 169 points out of the top 35. Only 30 points separate positions 36 through 39
In his four starts in the Truck Series at Dover, Kvapil has a best start of 5th (May 31, 2002 & May 30, 2003) and best finish of 5th (May 30, 2003). His average start is 8th and finish is 13th
