Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
The starting line-up for the so called "Busch Series" Carquest 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway shows why the series is nothing more than a second NEXTEL Cup event. Out of the 43 Starters, only 12 are not comepeting in a t least a partial Cup Series schedule. Out of these drivers, Randy Lajoie, Morgan Shepherd, Stacy Compton, Kenny Wallace, and John Andretti, have all competed in the Cup Series.
How can NASCAR even think of calling the "Busch Series" a traning ground. They want the big names there so they can sell more tickets for the Busch Series races. They could care less that they are keeping svereal very talented teams and drivers from racing.
P.S. These teams that never get to race because of the "Buschwackers" should try Modifieds. They don not get all the exposure. But you would probably get to race at least. And for alot less money spent.
Just my observation and opinion. -WMT
