Big Doubleheader Weekend at Canaan
This weekend on the awesome asphalt at Canaan Fair Motorsports Complex, Canaan, NH it’s Doubleheader Weekend. On Saturday night May 20th at 7pm it’s “Turn Back the Clock Night,” with a $5.00 Adult General Admission, that’s right just five bucks, featuring the first visit of 2006 of the TAT Link-Belt PASS Modifieds, plus the KIXX 100.5 Weekly Series Super Sportsman, Outlaw Minis, Pure Stocks, Mini Stocks, and the Kid’s Bandits. Juniors age 12 to 16 are only $3.00, kids six to 11 are $2.00, and five and under are FREE. A family of four for less than $20.00, that’s the way it used to be. Pits open at 3:30, practice at 4:30, general admission gates open at 5:30, and racing at 7pm sharp.
All adults ticket holders on Saturday night will receive $3.00 OFF discount coupons to the second part of the Doubleheader Weekend. Sunday afternoon May 21st at 2pm it’s the PASS Outlaw Late Model 100. This is the first race of the new PASS Outlaw Late Model Central Division Series, and it looks like we’re going to have well over 30 cars from NH, ME, MA, CT, and VT to challenge the local hotshoes. In addition to the 100 green-flag laps of Outlaw Action, fans will see the KIXX 100.5 Weekly Series Outlaw Minis, Mini Stocks, and the Kid’s Bandits. Adults are $15 - $12 with the coupon from the night before – Juniors 12 to 16 are $10, kids six to 11 are $5.00, and five and under are FREE.
Pits open at 10:00 am, practice at 11:30, general admission gates open at 12:30, and racing at 2pm sharp.
And, as a bonus to the Canaan fans, the discount coupons from Saturday night are also good for the May 27th at 6pm visit of the PASS Super Late Model Series. It’s the only time in 2006 at Canaan that you can see Cassius Clark, Ben Rowe, Mike Rowe, Scott Chubbuck, Travis Benjamin, Richie Dearborn, and a host of others in the fastest full-fendered cars in the northeast in 150 green-flag laps of action, plus the KIXX 100.5 Weekly Series Super Sportsman, Outlaw Minis, Pure Stocks, Mini Stocks, and the Kid’s Bandits. Adults are $20 - $17 with the coupon from the night before – Juniors 12 to 16 are $10, kids six to 11 are $5.00, and five and under are FREE.
