Attention all TVMRS members. With our season already under way and other tracks still having open practice seasons please remember the following procedure/rule that is in place for 2006:
Track Rental and Private Practice Sessions are Prohibited:
A. No practice by any team within two (2) weeks of a scheduled TVMRS race event at that track.
i. Rookies and second-year drivers will be allowed a maximum of six (6) practice sessions at tracks with open practice sessions; other drivers will be allowed four (4).
B. Series tires purchased for practice sessions will be branded. They can not be used for any practices, heats, consi’s, or features at TVMRS events.
C. The penalty for unauthorized practice is that the car/team involved will be barred from racing at the next TVMRS race at that track. Additionally, 100 championship points will be taken from their total for the year.
The practice for Canaan FairSpeedway is NOT Permitted. Any team that participates in the upcoming Canaan Practice day will not be allowed to run the May 6th TVMRS race and will be penalized 100 championship points.
