“Modified Racing Series Adds Marketing Firm for 2006”

Modified Racing Series founder Jack Bateman has announced the traveling racing tour has secured the services of Hoyt Racing Enterprises for the purpose of marketing the third year tour. The newly added company specializes in all forms of auto racing marketing and media services as well as creating sponsorship proposals for race teams and race event sponsors, The company owner John Hoyt, a 17 year veteran of working with race teams and touring divisions on a national level, says of the modified racing series, “this tour has grown more than anyone thought and the focus is to keep it moving forward”.

The series, presented again in 2006 by regional True Value stores, features open wheel, 600 horse powered modified race cars that draws fan interest from through out New England and beyond. This season the series has twenty one dates on its calendar, ventures to Connecticut for the first time, and its continued growth continues to be the talk of short track racing operatives throughout the country. Hoyt says the strong points he’s observed over the first two seasons is the “level of professionalism the tour brings and the quality of racing that fans have been treated too”.

As the new season fast approaches, fans will be afforded the opportunity to meet several drivers this weekend Mar 31 through Apr 2  at the Motorsports Madness show at the Cheshire Fairgrounds, Keene, NH and view practice sessions the week after on Apr 8 at the Monadnock Speedway,Winchester NH. The new season kicks off at the high banked speedway on Saturday night April 15 with “Rolling Thunder” and 100 laps of feature racing.  Drivers and teams from all six New England states are registered for the new season as well as several teams from Long Island, NY, and PQ.
