A total of 22 NASCAR Whelen M,odified Tour cars were at Thompson (CT) Speedway for an open practice session. The track is scheduled to host one more practice before the season opening Icebreaker.

Dennis Charette wrecked in the beginning part of practice when he got caught up in someone else’s oil, car hit pretty hard even the valve cover was crushed. Ron Yuhas was there with his tour car looked just like his sk, also noticed how he had a nice big hauler to go with it. Mike Andrews was in the 36 instead of Mike Ewanitsko.
