“ACT Late Models and True Value Modifieds Double Up In May At Lee”

Calling it “a great opportunity to showcase our tour with a top notch
operation like the ACT,” True Value Modified Racing series founder Jack
Bateman says he looks forward to the first ever race program that will pair
his open wheel modified’s and the popular Vermont based late model tour at
“New Hampshire’s Center of Speed” Lee USA Speedway, Lee, NH Friday night May
19th.  The ACT racers will compete in the RE/MAX 100 while the “Rolling
Thunder” of the TVMRS will battle in a 100 lap race the first of four
appearances at the Route 125 oval.  The two touring divisions will feature
their top stars and cars in the one night event. Two time TVMRS champion
Kirk Alexander, a previous winner at Lee will join veteran standout Dwight
Jarvis, Jimmy Kuhn, Lee Oktoberfest Champion Jimmy Dolan, Florida Speed
Weeks Champion Andy Seuss a former Lee regular, TVMRS rookie Bobby Grigas, a
Lee late model regular, 2004 Most Popular driver Sean Bodreau, and Karl
Fredrickson to name a few  while ACT stars, defending champion Jean-Paul
Cyr, second generation driver Brent Dragon, Dave Whitcomb, Dave Pembroke,
and the ageless Joey Laquerre are all expected at the RE/MAX sponsored
event. “This event could hopefully lead to others in the future that could
get interesting” said Bateman himself a former ACT competitor in the late 80’s
.

Veteran Winchester, NH racer Jim Boniface has secured a ride for the 2006
campaign as he will wheel a 2005 Chassis Dynamics modified for car owner
Warren Mordenti. Boniface won two races in 2004 while driving for Maine Hall
of Fame inductee Goodwin Hannaford. Boniface enters his 23rd year of racing.
Defending champion Kirk Alexander and veteran campaigner Bruce Batchelder
have informed tour officials of they’ll be on hand at the upcoming
Motorsports Madness 2006 at the Cheshire Fairgrounds, Keene, NH. They’ll
join Sean Bodreau, Rob Goodenough, Bob Donahue and Dwight Jarvis at the
inaugural event.
