Even more NASCAR Modified Legends Trivia

This NASCAR Modified Legend began his career in 1969 at the Plainville (CT) Speedway. In 1970 he took his first win at the tought 1/4 mile. Can you name the driver and his car number when he took that first win ?

Well WMT, when you say NASCAR Modified Legend & Plainville, the first to come to mind is The Reg - as for the #....  I'll play the instincts on this and say #11 for no apparent reason
