well, I guess this question sucks, huh? Something I came across during my research... I guess I'll wait another day just in case anyone take a stab... it's not an obscure name, that's for sure...
Well done O-Dub-Ya!! Geoff Bodine is correct. This guy owned this series: Out of the 23 total Yankee All-Star events, Bodine won 11 - by far the most of any competitor. In 1978 (the only year the races were 100 laps instead of the previous 50 lap distance used from 1975-1977), Bodine swept the entire 7 event schedule.
The track was Thompson. He won 1 of the 2 events held there in 1975 (R Bouchard), both events held in 1976, 1 of the 2 events in 1977 (Evans) and the lone event held there in 1978.
The Yankee All-Star League will get it's due in the ol' vault of stats, so stay tuned...(wow, am I pluggin' already... so shameless!! ...my bad!)
