According to Jim Hunter , Vice President of Communications and Regional Touring, the restructuring of NASCAR Regional racing in 2007 will allow NASCAR to focus more on the Grand National and Modified divisions.

Well time will tell if they are serious or this is just a short term attempt at damage control. I personally hope they have a plan to make it work again.
But I will not be paying $45 bucks to watch a 100 laps of follow the pole sitter like I did the last couple of times. Maybe I spoiled having watched them in the old days and at Loudon.
Speaking of racing at Loudon, check out the side walls / beads of the tires on TC at NHIS. How many #'s do they have to run to keep the tires from breaking the beads at full song?
