SANAIR SUPER SPEEDWAY TO HOST $10,000 (US) TO WIN STOCK CAR EVENT

St Pie, Qc - Quebec's legendary 7/8ths mile Sanair Super Speedway tri-oval will

host a $10,000 (U.S.) to win ACTion Super Series race in 2006. Promoter Denis

Lachance, owner of the Circuit Ste-Croix near Quebec City will bring together the ACT

Late Model Tour and Quebec's Late Model Serie Castrol for what is touted to be the

biggest race in the history of Late Model racing in Canada. The Fleur de Lys

International Championship will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 8-9.  Over $75,000

(Cdn) in purse will be on the line with over 60 Late Model teams expected to attempt

to qualify.

       The lightening fast Sanair tri-oval, located outside Montreal, was a frequent stop

on the ACT Tour from the track's opening in 1983 through 1994.  Last year, Lachance

successfully promoted a Serie Castrol Late Model event at the track to rave reviews. 

"I am pleased that this event, which has been highly anticipated on both sides of the

border, will come to fruition July 8-9.  There is a great enthusiasm from both the

Canadian fans and competitors to bring ACT racing back to Sanair." Lachance stated.

       He continued, "The race weekend will feature three premiere divisions. In addition

to the Late Models, ACT's Tiger Sportsman cars and the dirt Modified cars from

Airborne Speedway (Plattsburgh, NY), as well as nearby Granby and Drummondville

in Quebec will compete.  A total of over 130 race teams are expected in the three

divisions of racing."

       Defending and multi-time ACT Tour Champion, Jean-Paul Cyr from Milton, VT is

very excited to go north of the border, "The Canadian fans are great and a Super

Series race at Sanair should create a lot of excitement," he commented.  "I like

racing on tracks of all sizes but the larger tracks pose a different challenge.  Hopefully

this race will entice some of the Quebec competitors to come south for other ACTion

Super Series events," he finished.  Ironically Cyr, a 16-time ACT Tour winner has not

carried the checkered flag at the 7/8ths mile tri-oval.

       A.J. Begin of Merrimac, MA reacted quickly when he heard the news of the

Sanair race and simply said, "Wow!"  Once the 37-year old racer recovered he

continued, "I'm game for anything, it's refreshing to travel to new tracks.  I've heard

that it's a beautiful track and I'm excited to race in Canada."  Begin posted his first

career ACT Tour victory in June's Ferguson Waterworks 100 at the 1/3 mile Canaan

Fair Speedway.

       The Monza-style Fleur de Lys International Championship, which will be

contested under ACT procedures and rules, will be comprised of three 50-lap

segments.  The finish of each segment will be inverted to start the next and the overall

winner will be the driver with the lowest cumulative point total from his performance.

       Donald Theege of Boischatel, Qc, who finished fifth in last season's Serie Castrol

event at Sanair and runner-up in the season-long championship remarked, "I think this

will be the biggest thing for racing in 2006.  It will be wonderful for the fans to have

ACT and the Serie Castrol race together - there will surely be a record number of

cars.  ACT has put on some great shows at Sanair in the past.  At any given ACT

race in the U.S. there are probably 10 guys who can win and it's the same here in

Quebec with the Serie Castrol.  Imagine having at least 20 drivers who are capable of

winning at that race!"

       Entries for the Fleur de Lys International Championship will be sent to the ACT

Tour and Serie Castrol membership in early January.  Other drivers wanting an
