Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
I own 3 vintage Modifieds, Bob Potter's #110, Fuzzy Baer's #121 and Rollie Lindblad's first in house yellow Pinto from 1979. My question is, this Pinto went to Victory Lane with 4 different drivers. Name the 4 drivers and the car number at the time of Victory. spdracer19 please don"t respond, I told you a few weeks ago the answer. This car was featured on the front cover of Rollie's parts catalog in 79 or 80, but still ran for several years still as a Pinto. Good Luck.
Good try, Although Bob did have the most success with a Lindbald car with like oh i don't know 50-60 wins,he is not one of the 4 drivers. The yellow 51 is a twin sister Jig car to the one i have. Harry Rice on the other hand is one of the 4 winners in the car i have, one down and 3 to go. Good Job, keek try-en.
Ahhh come Rich, you think I can remember that far back? I swear, my memory is getting so bad I can buy my own Christmas presents and still be surprised when I open them!
Not a bad guess, but i don't remember either of the Gada boys driving a Pinto. Bob Sr. did, but not the one i have. Note; i never said what race track. Keep Try-en.
Rich, I don't remember the Gada boys running a Pinto either, but thought maybe the chassis had been rebodied as somthing else and run. With your newest clue I'm gonna take another guess at the two remaining drivers and say, Leo Cleary #48 and Wayne Dion #48??
owr, im not sure about Wayne Dion, it's possible. But Leo Cleary is one of the 4. If Dion did win in this car then there would be 5, and that would be way to cool to have that many different winners in that car.
owr,(sorry charlie) wrong. last hint, he is still racing and winning in a different class up North. about a month ago a head line in the speedwayscene read, blah-blah wins over Cleary. GOOD LUCK.
Well, this is probably cheating a bit, (And besides the fact this question is driving me nuts!) but what the hell it's my sandbox lol. I'm pretty sure I get the hint, and I'm gonna take three guesses at the last driver. Was it, Dan Meservey, Mike Weeden or Joe Lemay???
owr, cheating you say? You have to cheat to eat is what we at Savage Racing always said. Mike Weeden drove the #48 Yellow with blue number's and yes he is the 4th driver. congrats. Hope you enjoyed it i'll have more soon. Happy Holidays.
