Art was a very-very young man at the time, his first # was 21jr.
as a written down car owner, if you remember #21 was his # for many years. It was then changed to#14 when potter drove it after a split with a driver i can't mention, then back to the #21
one more hint, the driver was from preston and won three races one with Art and two in his own car.
You are correct! It was 1953 and Art was to young to drive, so he had my dad drive for him. My dad won the consi and then won the feature after starting way in the back of the pack. They finished the year out and dad retired that year after his 5th child was born also on that same night. They ended up 8th in points and made $25 dollars from the point fund. Dad returned in 1959 to shake down a new car for his good friend the late Marvin Chase. Well done.
