Car Counts Remain Strong In Southern Modifieds

From Speed51.com:

Car Counts Remain Strong In NASCAR Southern Modifieds
NWSMT - 4/16/12
The economy may be down a bit, but the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour car count has been very impressive this season.  So far through the first three races and counting the pre-race entry list for this weekend at Caraway Speedway (NC) the average field number has been 24 per race.  That's the second highest number behind only the 2006 season when just under 25 cars per race had shown up to compete. The tour has also produced three different winners in the first four races for the fourth time in eight years.  After this weekend the south tour will take off a few weeks as Bowman Gray Stadium gets into full swing.
