Review of the first NASCAR Whelen southern Modified Tour race


The all new NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour made it's debut at Caraway Speedway.


Northern invader Ted Christopher , who won the opening Northern race , was the winer. Christopher drove the HillBilly Racing #79 , the car his brother drives on the Northern Tour , in the race .


Jay Foley took second , the strongest running Southern tour driver .


Northern tour regular and former champion , Jamie Tomaino was third .


Former Nothern competitor Alex Hoag was sixth.


Riverhead Raceway competitor J.R. Bertuccio wa fifth-teenth.


21 cars were on hand .
