Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Kind of an easy one, especially for a few of our forum members! What two Late Model drivers, have won Late Model division track championships at all three Connecticut race tracks???
Your half right Anon, Phil Rondeau is correct.(Also an interesting side note, in 1988 I believe was the year, Rondeau won all three CT LM track titles). Jay Stuart however, has never won a track championship at Thompson. Keep trying!
Here is one for the record books. The "car" that CJ won the 94 Thompson Championship and the 95 Stafford Championship with. Is also the same car that Allen Coates has won all his Waterford Championships with.
So it's probably safe to say that is the only "car" to win a Latemodel Championship at all three CT tracks.
As former Bowl announcer Joe Golas used to say, C......J.......Frye, was the answer. Pretty easy one for you Flash. Thinking back on those days, with the level of competition at all three CT tracks in the LM division back then, those tittles were quite the accomplishments that CJ and yourself, and Phil and their teams were able to achieve.
