10/2 results

I don't know if Brat & OWR are at SMS, but here's the results I just got via cell from Jeff.

SK results:

1) Blewett 2) Baral 3) Rocco 4) Hardie

Agor wins championship, Owen blew a transmission.  TC got parked for an incident with (I think) Willie Hardie.

Jen, Thanks so much for posting the SK results, although I am not attending this year's Fall Final, I was busy muti-tasking trying to get my office up and running just waiting for the call from SMS.  The call came in, evidently later than Jeff's, as many of my eyewitnesses are #22 fans and the celebration was more important than sharing the info! I was just getting ready to post when your thread popped up, and I deleted my own for redundancy purposes.  Thanks again, you are now on the imaginary payroll!

A sixth place finish in today's event was enough.

Congratulations to Lloyd Agor and the entire #22 team on the long awaited Stafford Motor Speedway SK Modified Championship.  It does show that an "independent" driver, someone who works on his car alone sometimes in the evenings in the barn in Mahopac, NY got her done!  The persistance, and dedication he shows was finally rewarded.  Kudos to Mike Paquette and Billy the Kid as well, a proven winning combination.

The Late Model feature has been completed and the top 4 were:

  1. Marc Atkinson

  2. Mike Quintilliano

  3. Craig Collins

  4. Jim Peterson

Ryan Possoco is your 2005 Late Model champion.

That will do it for another season at SMS.
