Rumor has it veteran Modifed driver Tony Ferrante Jr. will retire at the conclusion of the 2005 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season . Ferrante has run alimited schedule on the Tour this season with his family owned #31.
He will keep his equipment though , and will venture to a race or two if he gets the itch.

Tony is a dedicated 'tour veteran. I hate to see him retire, he has had some really good finishes. I also hate to see Bob Polverari retire as well, one of the nicest guys in the business. Were losing some of the greats this year.....
Well put Rob , although I beleive we will see Tony at a few races next season . And Polverari has "retired" a few times before . I would not rule out seeing him at next yeasr 300 after the incredible run he had this year.
