Build a car , choose your number

O.K. so I borowed the idea .. shoot me. I just thought it would be interesting to see what OUR members would say . Choose your chassis , engine , body style , colors and numbers .

This would be my car .

Chassis - 2006 Troyer or I would like to have Barry Kuhnel build a car for me .

Engine - Performance Techology

Body - Chevy Monte Carlo - I would have it hung by SPAFCO

Colors - Black body , Neon Orange chassis , Silver numbers and lettering with Neon Yellow outlines

All wheels , bumpers, and nerf bars would be chrome

Sponsor - who has the biggest bank account ( I might need a few cars )

Number - 122 which would have to be 22 with a small one infront of it similar to the v4

I hope more people get involved with this .

ummm   my car.

Chassis I would want Barry to build mine too.

motor   Hutter Baby!!!!!!!!

body would have to be the dodges that Barry did when he and Ted ran the 25 for Cretty

paint   chassis would be light gray  body  pearl white  with flames that start just infront of number and trail off.  the flames will be white on the nose fading to  yellow fading to neon orange.     so if you look at the car the flames will be on the doors giving the illusion that the front of the car is on fire.    the Number would be 17 same style as SMS late Model Champion Jim Peterson.    they would be neon yellow out lined in black.   all wheels nerf bars and bumpers would be chrome.

Well I guess mine would look like this:

I would have to say an Sk or Tour Modified are my favorite race cars

Chassis: Chassis Dynamics (I dont know many chassis builders)

Engine: Larry's Auto Machine

Body: Either a 2005 Chevy Cavalier or a 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo

Paint Design: Chassis would be black, The primary color would be Dark Green (it looks good on Ron Yuhas' car), Then have black line at the bottom and a Mustard Yellow line under it on all the side panels.

Nerf Bars and Rims: Black

Number: 6 (like you could see that coming) or 6x

Lettering: Mustard Yellow with black outline

Sponsors: anybody that will me money

It would look pretty much like Ron Yuhas' Sk, becase I think it looks awesome

lets see,

If it was a tour car i might for for a Troyer, but if it was an SK i would definetly have a CD chassis.

motor would be either a BTK or hutter, or maybe CEM.

Either a mustang body, or a cavalier.

paint would be a red powder coat chassis with a dark blue body, if not blue, black with flames and orange.

#7 or 31

Breaking news.........

Ryan Newman just blew a RF in final practice and hit the wall. They are checking the car but looks like back-up car time.

Now back to your regularly schedule program.

I like the black with flames idea Ben . the number 7 would be nice but would be looked down upon on the Tour due to Baldwins death .The 31 seems to be available now that Tony Ferrante is no longer running the Tour.

Thanx for responding.

The CD Chassis is also a great idea . A friend of mine had some great success with CD SK. They just have not been a huge factor on the Tour as of yet .Not to say they will never be.

Seriously, a Mustang body. I have a '01 black Cobra for the street now so that would be cool.

Newman was fastest, before the tire went, then is Mark Martin, the 19... Kenseth is 16th and Gordo is 17th, McMary is like 22nd.

Still making laps, then Busch qualifing, then Cup? or is the Cup qualifing on Sat?

They are changing everything but the number on the 24 right now. Larry Mac & crew are speculating if they are making to many changes at once near the end of final practice.

Lol, I am going to sue the Baltic fire department. They are station #24 so thay have taken it upon themselves to use the same style numbers and even painted them boy friend blue.

I like Bill Elliott in the '80s when even Ford could not figure out what he was doing to get so much HP. I then swithced to Davey Allison and saw him run at NHIS the day before he crashed his chopper, kinda went with Rusty after that because he switched to the Blue Oval and the other good Ford drivers were taken in our pool but now like the cool even mannor of Kenseth, plus my Wisconsin connections. I really like anyone who races clean and doesn't whine, so you can guess what I think about Gordo.
