Some real good news comes via racing trade publication Area Auto Racing News who broke the story that a one year lease had been signed for continued racing at the Wall Stadium in New Jersey.
Cliff Krause, a 58-year-old Holmdel, New Jersey resident signed a one-year lease on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 to conduct weekly Saturday night stock car races, as well as other special events at Wall Stadium operating under CK Motorsports LLC. Krause's lease runs from January 15, 2011 to January 15, 2012, with a yearly option to renew with the five owners of the speedway.
"We'll have a full schedule with 20 to 24 races, and so far, Formula Drift will be a part of that," said Krause. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour competitor Jamie Tomaino is expected to play an important role in the management and operation of the track.
