NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour competitor Jim Storace , was sporting a new paint scheme and new sponsor at Martinsville . Checkmate Industries is the new sponsor . The car is more of a red color with some silver as opposed to the usual orange .

Just to add to this , I spoke with Jim a little while ago . Seems they had a skip in the motor they are trying to get worked out . He says he is ready to run in the Non-Qualifiers race and get his way in to the field for the Made in America Whelen 300.
