Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Unless you had kool aid spilled on your computer, (Sorry Eggs, couldn't resist) you have heard that many of the WMT teams, had planned to boycott the Seekonk WMT event because Seekonk had planned to not honor a long standing agreement between the tracks and the Tour, of selling a certain amount of discounted pit passes to the teams. Seekonk has sinced said they will honor the agreement, and the proposed boycott is off. What is everyones opinion on this? Should the WMT teams get the discount? Or how about the tracks weekly division guy that gets wacked another $15 to $20 when the tour is there, should they get a break? Lets here your opinions.
Good one OpenWheel . In my opinion the Tour crews deserve a break as they are the premier division when they roll into any racetrack , BUT it is not fair for the weekly competitors to be charged more . Somehting needs to be done about this continuing problem . Weekly racers are the BACKBONE of this sport , and they need to be able to afford to race . Promoters of ALL racetracks need to find a better way of raising money for the payouts on the Tour nights . I still belive more tracks should do the 50/50 raffles . Anything would be better than overcharging your weekly competitors .
And make sure they keep Kool-Aid away from there computers.
