Excellent news! Personally the "Bowl" is one of my favorite tracks. I guess its just that bullring thing! Hopefully it remains as a race track for a long time to come. God knows, with the price of real estate in Ct., if we lose a track, odds are that we will not be getting a replacement.

I too am glad the bowl is not being sold - at this time. We complain about pay outs, managment, the racing etc., but it's hard enough to find tracks to run with out traveling great distance, expecially the legends! We tried tour racing for a few years, and it was great fun! but you are treated like dirt at most tracks. They put their home divisions first - which they should - but we received very little press reports and did not have a large following. Now that the legends are at the bowl, there is press and a following. And I am sure other divisions are the same.

This Excellent news. Let us all just hope now that the "powers that be" make the efforts neccesary to run a succesfull track.
