Steven Wallace to make Cup debut: During SPEED's SPEED Report show, Bob Dillner reported that Rusty Wallace's son, Steven, a regular in the Nationwide Series, will attempt to make his Sprint Cup debut at Richmond International Raceway on May 1st. Steven will run a car from Rusty's team, Rusty Wallace Inc. and plans to attempt four other Sprint Cup races in 2010, no word on those venues.(SPEED)(2-28-2010)
Cool, it is great to see someone get a chance like this knowing it is based on he repeated top finishes and his not running into everthing within a car length of him in the NW Series and not the fact his dad was a cup driver. It is clear that he has paid his dues and earned this chance at the elite ranks and never even had to run the IRL of F1 like others.
