Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
Can someone tell me who Jensen was driving for at New Smyrna??? I hope someone brings that car with or without John to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 2010. I'm not knocking John at all but in comparison to some of the other entries he is an "unheard of", yet he almost defeated an eight-time World Series Tour Type Modified Champion. Someone ought to look in his direction, preferably with that car.

The car Jensen was in was his own. A brand new Troyer with Bear doing the setups. It has been written elsewhere that he will run "select" Tour events. Don't know if that means WMT or MRS.
The car I'm told was real nice looking with attention to detail.
You also gotta realize the rules down at speed weeks were far in between, so who knows how legal everyone was.. Not saying Jensen isn't a good racer or had a good car, but the rules were no where as tight as say the Modified Tour
Racer1, I have crewed on cars at N.S.S. several times so I totally understand the lack of "rules". But, they ALL run under these same lack of rules. My point was that John nearly won the Championship against the likes of Christopher, Hossfeld, Civali, Grigas, the Goodales etc.

I agree. Not saying he cheated, but I know first hand the flexability florida has to offer. Hopefully he is that good and so is the car, i wish john the best of luck
I am not really sure where that "win in an SK" remark was going. But I did want to add a couple things.
I have seen pictures of the car, and it was BEAUTIFUL. Having "Bear" guiding you with the set-up at N.S.S. definitely helps, but I will NEVER agree to a 90% car 10% driver ratio. I might possibly go 60% car 25% spotter 15% driver at best.
Fianlly, can we PLEASE all realize that the M.R.S. is Modified Racing S-E-R-I-E-S.
