Seems that after the Mini Stock division checker dropped, there was a "broo-ha-ha", which deems the full finish unavailable with the exception of the winner. After the checker, Phil Evans and Chris Williams wrecked, among others. Because these drivers were within the top 5, Speedbowl Officials were unable to post the finish until it gets straightened out. There may also be penalties for drivers jumping on other drivers hoods, getting out of their respective cars and approaching other drivers on the track, etc....Sounds like a lots of excitement at the finish!
We will give you at least the top 5 when it becomes availablem the "Eye" went to tech to see if he could tell us from there...
With that said the Mini Stock Division winner tonight was Richard Brooks!
Edit: Seems that it is the 5th place car that is under discussion, as there was only 4 in Tech. The full finish has yet to be posted. The Tour is up next!
Mini Stock Top Five Finishers:
Richard Brooks
Joe Godbout III
Jeff Miller
Dan Field
Chuck Rogers
and thats all we have so far...
A side note: Original 4th place finisher Phil Evans, was disqualified for his involvement in an on track incident

side note to the tour show...Lap 20 apparently James Civali has taken Ken Barry and his car and put him into the turn 4 wall. Heavy damage to Ken Barry... Civali drove away.
Waterford fans show their displeasure to Ciavli in their way....the rheaume way!
Sounds like it was a fairly exciting race down there. We are extremely upset to hear that Jim Storace totally detroyed his car head on into the 4th turn wall...Feel for ya Eggs, but thrilled that Jim is okay!
Apparently, on the with a little over a lap to go Tony Hirschman spun bringing out the caution...Donny Lia was not threatened fopr the win whatsoever by the second place car when he ran out of fuel and coasted to the checker. Eventually he was pushed in victory Lane by crew members. On the phone I could hear the fans going nuts, booinng hysterically, not only about TC finishing second...., but about them feeling that there should have been a green white checker situation... If the yellow came prior to the white, maybe they should have....
Whelen 150 top Five:
Donny Lia
Ted Christopher-2nd twice tonight
Eric Beers
Jerry Marquis
Steve Whitt

Congratulations to everyone, and especially Chris Pastreyak for finishing 15th in his very first Tour race...
