Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
While most people know me as a fan of the Whelen Modified Tour , I have to give credit where credit is due . Jack Bateman needs to be commended for his vision and dedication to Modified racing . With tracks like Monadnock and Twin-State ( formerly Claremont ) dropping the Tour-Type Modifieds , Bateman took action to keep these drivers racing .
The talent in this series continues to blossom , with several teams from the Whelen Tour also testing the True Vale Tour waters . Legendary Modified driver Bob Polverari has also found a home on this Series .The competiveness at these races becomes very evident when you look at drivers who have used the consi or provisionals to make the show .
Several teams can use motors on this series that are now illegal for the Whelen Tour . Alllowing them to compete at the touring level without purchasing new equipment . And the 100 GREEN FLAG lap format is a hit with all fans .
So once again I must give a tip of the hat to Bateman and the people behind this series . Thank You for keeping my favorite sport growing . Best of Luck in the future .
