It seems that former Whelen (Featherlite at the time) Modified Tour competitor and winner of the last two SMART (now Whelen Southern Modified) Tour championships L.W. Miller is calling Friendship Speedway in North Carolina his new home . On May 22nd the track hosted twin modified features with Miller winning the first a placing fifth in the second .
