Now with all that out of the way.....Let's make some laps!
The Bud Nats have started, and the SK qualifying results are below. We will try to bring you the podium results from the features to run today, including the Allison Legacy, The All-Star Trucks, The Legends, and The Pro-4's. Tomorrow we will be in the chatroom for LIVE results from the Mini, SM, Lm and 150 Lap SK features beginning at 1:00pm, weather permitting. It's a beautiful day down here on the CT shoreline, and many people came out to support the track. Hopefully, this support will continue throughout the season.

There will be no Consi, and everyone (all 29 cars) are scheduled will start. Except maybe Diego Monahan, who's qualifying wreck on his second lap caused damge that may not allow him to compete. There may be misspelling in drivers names, please forgive me, I took this down from a cell conversation. These results are unofficial.
There will be a pre-race redraw tomorrow morning, these are the results of the time trials only!
Congratulations to Jimmy Broderick and team for setting the fastest time!
Please feel free to post any observations, thoughts, and opinions on the 2005 Bud Nats!

thanks for the lineup, i have prom tonight so i didnt go down. whose car is Broderick driving? i also heard that D. Monahan's car has major damage from his wreck.
Openwheelracer will have all the "dirty details" on todays' events when he gets back from the track, but I do know that Diego's car is supposedly trash. As far as Triple track champ JB, this is apparently a collaboration of the infamous championship team of Dennis Pruhnik and Jimmy Broderick, certainly a team to be reckoned with! More details later...
Enjoy you prom buddy! A night to remember, wow, that was so long ago....

Just a quick question. Does anyone know how much it will cost to get in tomorrow? I can't find it anywhere on Waterford's site, and my mom and I might go. I don't know yet. Thank you for the information (if you can provide it). If you can't, that's quite all right. Thank you anyway.
I think it is $38 for a two day pass. To be sure call the Bowl at: 860-442-1585 or check the sports' sections of the local papers this past week, ie: The Day, The Bulletin or the Hartford Courant. Looked in today's Norwich Bulletin and did't find the ad, so check earlier days.
Pole winner Jimmy Broderick, was in Mark Payne's #57 as Payne was getting married today, Payne will take over the car tommorow starting scratch. Diego Monahan, took a hard hit into the back stretch wall during time trials pretty much destroying his #81. Apparently the steering shaft pulled out of the steering rack and Diego was "along" for the ride.
diego is fine he went to the hospital to be checked out alls ok but the car is not but with the race beging changed to june 18 he has a good chance to be there!
